Hi there!
My name is Jordan Blaschek. I am a student at Thompson Rivers University, and planning to be a history major in efforts to become a teacher. I have always been very passionate and interested in history ever since I was little. I would spend time watching any and all war documentaries that would be on TV. My first passion was everything revolving around World War Two. Whether that be the Soviet Union, or German social changes and history, or actual battle and battle tactics. It all interested me. Once I became older I began to learn about other historical periods and became more interested in social history rather than militaristic history. By the time I got to university I decided I wanted to teach history in some form and began my pursuit. I started with British History and have moved my way west towards Canadian history and American history as I believe learning about both is valuable in such a time. Also because both places are interlinked throughout history, and so geographically close yet so vastly different at the same time. Other off topic things about me are I have four brothers, my favourite television show is Brooklyn Nine Nine and my favourite food is fettuccine alfredo.
